Too often we hear that when patients go to doctors they feel like they are rushed through the visit and their concerns and questions aren\u2019t satisfactorily addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Fawn and Dr. Kayla allow enough time on your first visit to ensure that they are able to thoroughly listen to their patients. On average, your first appointment will last 45-60 minutes. When you come to the office for your first time, this is what you can expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will be asked to fill out paperwork that provides us general information about yourself, your reasons for visiting our office, and your health history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will then have a private consultation with your Doctor where she will talk to you about your health-related problems and concerns to determine if chiropractic care is a good fit for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They will then ask you various questions to get more information on your conditions and then will perform a thorough exam in order to determine if chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Docs are always sure to explain exactly what chiropractic care is and if and how it can help your specific condition before any treatment is given. All of your questions about chiropractic will be answered during your initial visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once the history and exam are completed, patients are usually given their first chiropractic adjustment during the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and\/or stretches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will be given a convenient appointment time for your first follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen again within 2-3 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
