Foods That Keep You Hydrated

It’s summer! Summers can be dry, hot, and humid. That’s why we want to help you stay hydrated.

Did you know, most fruits and vegetables are good sources of water? They help provide your body with hydration. The most hydrating food is a cucumber, which is made up of 96% water. Celery and tomatoes follow closely behind at 95% and 94% water while watermelon, though very juicy (we’ve all had the juices running down our arms from a great summer melon) falls in at about 91% water.

Though nothing can really beat straight water, the below fruits and vegetables are chock-full of hydrating powers:

  • Cucumbers
  • Strawberries
  • Zucchini
  • Cantaloupe
  • Celery
  • Tomatoes
  • Peaches
  • Watermelon
  • Cabbage
  • Blueberries (or most berries)
  • Oranges
  • Broccoli
  • Pineapple
